How are people of Nepal now?

Some are in good condition. Some are in not so good condition. Everyone affected by the earthquake is traumatized in some way. Recovery process is going on, although I haven’t had the time to follow it as much. They’re starting to rebuild the monuments and repair Boudhanath etc. Nepal will bounce back, it’s just a matter of time.

The Nepalese Royal Massacre

historical-nonfiction:

Reports indicate that after heavy drinking and hashish smoking, Crown Prince Dipendra shot and killed nine members of his family, including the King and Queen of Nepal, before shooting himself. Upon King Birendra’s death, Prince Dipendra became de jure King of Nepal for three days while he remained in a coma, before dying in the hospital. His younger brother, Prince Gyanendra assumed the throne in June of 2001.

Now how and why it happened is all speculative. Some Nepalese dispute how it happened. And any guess as to why it happened is just that, a guess.

About Me

I grew up in a small town helping my parents on their farm. There I developed my love for nature and a desire to explore. Now I travel around the world photographing nature.

Interests

I love to travel. I have been everywhere, from Alaska to Zimbabwe. For every trip I keep a travel log of my adventures and capture the world as I see it.

Check out my photo gallery to get a glimpse into where I have been. And drop me a line if want to find out more. I always love to hear from fellow travelers.

Aspirations

I am looking for my next big adventure. There are still many places I want to visit and even more to which I want to return. The camera is charged up and my backpack is packed; drop me a line if you know where I should go next.
