I stayed in Boudhanath, Nepal, for one month (March 2010), during which time I was very, very broke. That meant a lot of free adventures, like walking for miles and miles along the dusty roads leading out of Boudha, climbing unknown hills in the distance. I never knew what I would find. On one of my hikes I discovered a pine forest in the foothills, with excellent views of the surrounding farmland, mountains, and, in the distance, Boudhanath stupa where I was staying. I took to hiking there daily and writing in my journal. This photo was captured on one of those hikes.

Unfortunately I somehow lost the memory card the original images were stored on, which I lament constantly, because with it some treasures disappeared. All I have left are the edited picks of those, which comprise only about 5% of the total. Goddammit.

But I do have my spectacular memories of that time, which are most important.

About Me

I grew up in a small town helping my parents on their farm. There I developed my love for nature and a desire to explore. Now I travel around the world photographing nature.

Interests

I love to travel. I have been everywhere, from Alaska to Zimbabwe. For every trip I keep a travel log of my adventures and capture the world as I see it.

Check out my photo gallery to get a glimpse into where I have been. And drop me a line if want to find out more. I always love to hear from fellow travelers.

Aspirations

I am looking for my next big adventure. There are still many places I want to visit and even more to which I want to return. The camera is charged up and my backpack is packed; drop me a line if you know where I should go next.
