Sorry to bother but I really dont get what all the different gods and godesses and bodhisattvas and whatsoever have to do with each other? I hope you get what I mean, it's all so confusing? Like the nag (snake) has something to do with Shiva but then again nags are supposed to live in the Taudaha lake which was formed after Manjushri let the water out of Kathmandu out This is such a loaded question. All these connections come from the Purans and other stories of gods and goddesses. There are so many stories if I start telling them all I’ll be here at least until I’m 60 years old because I don’t even know a lot of them. I took a Hinduism course in University and that helped me make a lot of connections. And I took Sanskrit and studied some other stories when I was in elementary school so that helped as well. Some stories are known to exist only in certain parts of Nepal while others are well known all over. I think you’d be better off googling for summary of the more famous stories because I don’t know where to start.

| About MeI grew up in a small town helping my parents on their farm. There I developed my love for nature and a desire to explore. Now I travel around the world photographing nature. InterestsI love to travel. I have been everywhere, from Alaska to Zimbabwe. For every trip I keep a travel log of my adventures and capture the world as I see it. Check out my photo gallery to get a glimpse into where I have been. And drop me a line if want to find out more. I always love to hear from fellow travelers. |
Aspirations
I am looking for my next big adventure. There are still many places I want to visit and even more to which I want to return. The camera is charged up and my backpack is packed; drop me a line if you know where I should go next.
