Hello! Do you have any recommendations of things to take to Nepal? Like baby wipes, outlet adapters ect. I'm going for the first time since I was a kid so I don't remember much 😭 Also, will I be able to wear dresses up to my knee? My family in Nepal aren't too conservative but I also don't want to come off as disrespectful to them. Thank you!! Hi! I answered a similar question. I’ll copy and paste it here (because I really need to update theme of this blog to be not so shitty and unreadable…i’ll get to it…eventually!)
Check out the travel guide tag for any other info and stuff like that. As for clothes, you’ll see people walking around in Kathmandu in Booty shorts and spaghetti straps. It’s not uncommon, and I’m not saying you should do the same thing but you should be fine with dresses up to your knees (or even a bit shorter). People walk around in shorts all the time during the summer, BUT I didn’t wear shorts (even though I took some with me) because people kept starting at me while I was walking on the streets? I didn’t feel comfortable but that’s just me. When you go to family’s place etc then I think it should be fine. T-shirts or tank tops and shorts/capris/dresses/skirts etc are ideal for summer months. Don’t think it would be disrespectful to your family. Enjoy your time!! :)

Hey, thank you for this blog :)) I was wondering where I can find new/ trending nepali music, with bollywood its soo easy bc its popular (thers saavn too) but its difficult to find nepali songs and i wasn't raised on nepali films unfortunately even though i am nepali :/ thanks! Hi! I’m glad you enjoy this blog! :) I don’t listen to Nepali songs or watch Nepali movies that often either (BUT from what I’ve heard the quality has gone up by A LOT). I just Googled some websites/radio shows/ publications I remember my parents talking about or I would watch as a kid so here are some links. If any of my followers have more accurate or diverse options, link them below! (reply or reblog or message me!): The last link has a bunch of links to radio stations and you can check out their websites or listen to them on tunein. Also check out Lex Limbu (http://lexlimbu.com/). He talks about pop culture and all that good stuff so might be helpful.

| About MeI grew up in a small town helping my parents on their farm. There I developed my love for nature and a desire to explore. Now I travel around the world photographing nature. InterestsI love to travel. I have been everywhere, from Alaska to Zimbabwe. For every trip I keep a travel log of my adventures and capture the world as I see it. Check out my photo gallery to get a glimpse into where I have been. And drop me a line if want to find out more. I always love to hear from fellow travelers. |
Aspirations
I am looking for my next big adventure. There are still many places I want to visit and even more to which I want to return. The camera is charged up and my backpack is packed; drop me a line if you know where I should go next.
