Does this blend of Hinduism/Buddhism only hold true for Kathmandu valley Newars or for other valley inhabitants as well?

Others as well. It’s not specific to only Newars or even only inhabitants of Kathmandu valley. There might be people who are from outside Kathmandu who believe/practice a Hindu-Buddhist hybrid religion.

Do you know any good resources for learning more about ethnic relations/conflict in Nepal? Or just the general culture/society regarding those things

I have no idea. You can check out news services like ekantipur or Himalayan Times which I think are fairly reliable. I haven’t been following up with the conflicts in Nepal at the moment so I’m not aware. I’ve seen some stuff relating to the ethnic conflicts or just general information here on tumblr but they seem biased to me. Maybe my followers have some recommendations.

I’ll update this post in the future if I find any.

About Me

I grew up in a small town helping my parents on their farm. There I developed my love for nature and a desire to explore. Now I travel around the world photographing nature.

Interests

I love to travel. I have been everywhere, from Alaska to Zimbabwe. For every trip I keep a travel log of my adventures and capture the world as I see it.

Check out my photo gallery to get a glimpse into where I have been. And drop me a line if want to find out more. I always love to hear from fellow travelers.

Aspirations

I am looking for my next big adventure. There are still many places I want to visit and even more to which I want to return. The camera is charged up and my backpack is packed; drop me a line if you know where I should go next.
