do you know if we can donate by cheque or cash if we want to mail the donation to our local unicef building? I think they prefer/recommend checks or bank drafts for mail ins. I checked their website but I couldn’t find any information on this. Maybe call your local UNICEF to confirm.

Only donate to trusted sources as there might be spammers and exploiters out to take advantage of this devastating situation. UNICEF (click donate to be taken to your country’s donation page) The links I posted earlier are also trusted sources, and they will eventually be donating to one of these organizations.

I know many from my school who are from Nepal, thankfully they too have all been receiving positive word from families. My prayers to you and your loved ones and country. Thank you. Nepal will need lots of prayers, donations and international help.

A lot of you guys have sent me messages asking me about my family, and they are all doing okay. Both of my parents are currently in Nepal for a couple of weddings that were supposed to take place this month and I was in touch with them a couple hours after the quake hit. They are not hurt, thankfully. Also keep in mind that many families were not as lucky as mine. There is devastation throughout the country. Please, keep this in mind and make donations or aid with relief efforts if you can. Thank you.
