A man throws powdered red dye onto the newly erected Chir which marks the start of the Holi festival. The Chir is wrapped in orange cloth representing Krishna and is topped with strips of cloth and a sapling. The strips of cloth and sapling are symbolic of legend in which Krishna would come upon young women bathing naked in the stream. He would take their clothes as a joke and punishment for bathing without them and hang them in the trees.</p> </blockquote>

I grew up in a small town helping my parents on their farm. There I developed my love for nature and a desire to explore. Now I travel around the world photographing nature.

Interests

I love to travel. I have been everywhere, from Alaska to Zimbabwe. For every trip I keep a travel log of my adventures and capture the world as I see it.
